Racquets for Reading

Racquets for Reading!!!

We provide essential funds for Scholastic book grants to passionate
teachers in elementary schools showing low scholl readiness and/or 
third grade reading scores. By putting books driectly into the hands
of preschoolers and their families, we bridge the literacy gap and
foster a lifelong love of reading. Our goal is to ensure that every child 
has the resources they need to succeed in the classroom and beyond.

We keep score!!! (That's what tennis players do!) Since we started
Racquets for Reading!!! in 2020, we have reached 11,000+ kids in 36
school divisions with books and FUN giveaways. We are most grateful
for our grantors and supporters who have made this possible. (see logos
below)

Racquets for Reading!!! is part of our Reading Pathway for early literacy
and is complmented by Storybook Champions.
