QuickStart Tennis of Central Virginia receives IRS Determination Letter

November 21, 2009 was a red-letter day for QCV. We received notification of IRS approval of our request for status as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) public charity. The status is retroactive to September 4, 2009, our date of incorporation.

Our Determination Letter was received less than six weeks after we filed our application. The expedited IRS processing of our request makes it possible for us to apply for grants sooner than we originally envisioned.
